Join Suzie Burgess and me for this five-week art workshop covering all the fundamentals of oil painting! And YES, there will be some wonderful beverages and treats to make your artsitic experience that more enriched. ;) This workshop will have an intimate ambiance that fosters connection and creativity. If you have ever been intrigued by oil painting, but it's felt too scary to explore alone, fear not—this class is for you! We are so excited to share our experience and love of painting with you.

During this workshop we'll be painting step by step, as a class. Your first week will be an overview of your supplies, the differences between certain brushes, and how oil paint works. You will have the opportunity to experiment with different paint application techniques and find out how your materials work together. 

During this particular block we will be focused on portraits. Together we will create this sepia tone painting. Techniques we will focus on in this class include: drawing accurate facial proportions, different brushes to acheive sharpness and softness in your painting, and how to create proper values.
